Ordering chicken online: a good business idea?
Recently I've been thinking about whether it would be a good business idea to make it so you could order your Harold's online -- probably just for a few particular stores -- and I wonder what y'all think about it as a business idea. One key question is, would you pay any extra for your order to be able to order it online? If so, how much? A nickel? Dime? Quarter?
What if every online order entered you in a contest of some sort -- say, free Harold's for a month? THEN how much extra might you pay for your order?

not much. i mean, how much overhead is it to set up online ordering?
What do you mean by ordering online? For example, I know there are restaurants in Colorado that will ship food anywhere in the US.
I haven't had Harold's in over a year, if you set that up I'd pay for the chicken, for shipping, plus 100-200% the cost, or any other huge overhead you want to charge.
THATS A GREAT IDEA !!!!
Dear Harolds Chicken Shack No. 15,

I have been in the military for 8 years and I have to come back to the city to get Harold's whenever im in Chicago. There are so many of my army buddies who have come home with me and fell in love with Harold's Chicken. Making ordering available online would be THE best business deal ever...Trust me...
Geno from hunneds!!

I think Ordering Harold's chicken online is a great idea and I would be willing to pay an extra $.50. Is delivery an option and if so, how much?
The key to the success of this idea depends on the quality of service. When the service is great, most people don't mind paying a little extra.
I think it is a great idea. To help make the idea fly you may want to have an incentive to get people do that. For instance an offer e.g 10% off your first order. You may also employ text message offers to reach on the go consumers. especially during the slow hours of the day
